THE MOVING IMAGE BEYOND THE CINEMA / CONTEXTE CONTEMPORAIN DE PROJECTIONS CINÉMATIQUES

Progamme éducatif à Montréal

Beyond single-channel video projections in the cinema, visual cinematic works are seen more and more in other contexts. This workshop will present works that were created for presentation outside the black box, either in installation form in gallery spaces, in performance form onstage, or in public spaces.

Goal: Participants will discover the various contemporary contexts in which moving images are presented, exploring the impact these images can have depending on the artist’s chosen presentation format.

---
